With over a decade of professional experience in audio for film, broadcast and music, Gabe Knox currently works in Toronto as a freelance re-recording mixer, sound editor & composer. In 2010 he was recognized by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television with a Genie nomination for Achievement in Sound Editing. After graduating from Ryerson University with a BA in Radio and Television Arts with a specialty in Audio, he interned at Deluxe Post-Production before starting work as a sound editor and re-recording mixer at The Dark Studio. While there, his list of credits for both the studio and as a freelancer grew to include series commissioned by CBC, HGTV, History, TVO, NFB and films shown in festivals around the world, including TIFF, Hot Docs, Locarno and Berlin.
